Overview

The Lead Capture System helps you build your pipeline by converting website visitors into qualified leads. When prospects access your gated content or request consultations, the system captures their information, syncs it to your CRM, and sends automatic follow-ups - all without manual work. Every lead includes attribution data so you know which marketing channels drive results.

Step-by-Step Guide

Accessing Gated Content (For Prospects)
  1. Click any playbook or resource marked as gated content on the marketing site
  2. See a contextual form with messaging specific to the content you’re accessing
  3. Enter your email address and basic contact information (first name, last name, company)
  4. Choose whether to receive marketing updates (opt-in checkbox)
  5. Click “Get Access” to submit the form
  6. Access granted immediately - content displays on screen
  7. Receive a welcome email with a direct link to the content within 10 seconds
Submitting an Onboarding Request
  1. Click “Get Started” on the marketing site
  2. Complete Step 1: Contact Information (first name, last name, email, company)
  3. Click “Next” to proceed to Step 2: Project Details
  4. Select your project type, budget range, and timeline from dropdown menus
  5. Click “Next” to proceed to Step 3: AI Experience
  6. Answer questions about your AI experience level and add any additional context
  7. Click “Submit” to complete the form
  8. See a confirmation message with next steps within 3 seconds
  9. Receive a confirmation email acknowledging your request
Requesting a Data Foundation POC
  1. Navigate to the Data Foundation POC page
  2. Fill in all required fields across the comprehensive form (basic info, project details, goals)
  3. Select your preferred plan tier and timeline
  4. Review the privacy notice and check the consent box
  5. Click “Request POC” to submit
  6. Your request syncs to GoHighLevel CRM automatically with tags like “data-foundation-poc” and “high-intent”
  7. Sales team receives an immediate alert email with your full context
Viewing Previously Accessed Content
  1. Return to any gated content page during the same browser session
  2. The system recognizes your session and bypasses the gate form
  3. Access content immediately without re-entering information
  4. Your session access lasts until you close the browser or after 24 hours of inactivity

Common Questions

Do I need to fill out a form every time I access gated content? No. Once you submit a gated form during your session, you can access all other gated content without filling out another form. The system remembers your session until you close your browser or after 24 hours of inactivity. What happens to my information after I submit a form? Your contact information saves to the Fiftyknots database within 2 seconds and syncs to the GoHighLevel CRM within 5 seconds. You receive a confirmation email within 10 seconds, and the sales team receives an alert with your details. If you opted out of marketing emails, you only receive transactional messages related to your specific request. Can I update my contact information after submitting? Yes. If you submit a form with the same email address more than 24 hours after your initial submission, the system updates your contact record with the new information. Submissions within 24 hours show an “Already submitted” message. How do I know if my form submission was successful? You see an immediate confirmation message on screen within 3 seconds of clicking submit. You also receive a confirmation email within 10 seconds. If you don’t see either, check your spam folder or try submitting again. What if I don’t want marketing emails? Uncheck the marketing communications opt-in box before submitting any form. You’ll still receive transactional emails (like confirmation messages and content access links), but no marketing messages. This setting complies with GDPR requirements.

Troubleshooting

Form won’t submit when I click the button Check that all required fields are filled with valid information. Email fields must contain a properly formatted email address (example@domain.com). Date fields for project timelines must be in the past if asking about completed projects. If fields are valid but submission still fails, your browser may have JavaScript disabled - forms require JavaScript to submit. I submitted a form but didn’t receive the confirmation email Wait up to 60 seconds for the email to arrive, then check your spam or junk folder. If the email still hasn’t arrived after 2 minutes, the email service may be experiencing delays. Your submission still saved successfully to the database. The system prevents duplicate submissions to avoid processing the same lead multiple times. If you need to update your information, wait 24 hours and submit again, or contact the sales team directly. Forms display incorrectly on my mobile device All forms are mobile-responsive and should display correctly on phones and tablets. If you see layout issues, try rotating your device or zooming out. Touch targets are at least 44px to ensure easy tapping. If problems persist, try accessing the form from a different browser on your mobile device. Analytics Dashboard - View metrics on how many prospects view your gated content, start forms, and complete submissions. Track conversion rates by source (organic, paid, referral) to understand which marketing channels perform best. Access the dashboard at /analyticsdashboard to see funnel metrics and opportunity values. Data Room - After submitting an onboarding form, your project gets a dedicated Data Room where you can upload supporting documents, review AI-generated insights, and collaborate with the Fiftyknots team. Journey Dashboard - Once you complete onboarding, track your progress through each stage of the venture-building journey.
