Your project brief gets stronger through intelligent AI questioning and expert guidance. The system analyzes your brief, identifies gaps, and walks you through targeted questions to reach a 75% feasibility threshold. When you hit that milestone, your brief automatically advances to expert matching - no forms, no waiting, just forward momentum.

Step-by-Step Guide

  1. Complete the initial wizard on the Wizard page (/wizard). Submit your basic project information and wait up to 2 minutes for your feasibility score.
  2. Review your feasibility score on the Brief Review page (/briefreview). The system shows your overall score (0-100%) and breaks it down across 7 dimensions: Problem Statement (15%), Solution Overview (15%), Market Validation (15%), Technical Approach (20%), Execution Plan (15%), Success Metrics (10%), and Constraints/Risks (10%).
  3. Answer AI-generated questions in the Collaborative Workspace (/collaborativeworkspace). The AI asks 3-5 prioritized questions for each weak dimension (scoring below 70%). Your answers automatically update your brief and recalculate your score in real-time.
  4. Collaborate with your AI Sherpa when the system assigns one (triggered when your brief needs additional support). Your Sherpa appears in the workspace with a “AI Sherpa [Name] has joined your workspace” message. They can suggest edits, ask clarifying questions via chat, and directly update your brief with your approval.
  5. Upload supporting documents by dragging files (PDF, PNG, JPEG, XLSX up to 10MB) into the workspace. The AI extracts structured information within 30 seconds - wireframes become feature lists, spreadsheets become market data, mockups trigger technical questions.
  6. Watch your score improve as you provide information. You receive email notifications when your score jumps (+5% or more) and when your Sherpa posts messages.
  7. Celebrate the 75% milestone. When your brief crosses the threshold, the workspace displays confetti animation and a success banner: “Congrats! Your brief is ready.” Your job automatically transitions to expert matching, and you see “Next Step: Expert Matching (Est. 24-48 hours)” on your Dashboard (/journeyoverview).

Common Questions

What happens if I can’t reach 75% after many questions?
The AI stops at 20 questions to prevent overwhelm. Your Sherpa reviews the situation and may manually approve below 75%, schedule a discovery call with you, or suggest pivoting your requirements. You receive a transparent explanation of the escalation. Can I edit sections the AI or Sherpa already filled in?
Yes. You and your Sherpa can edit simultaneously in real-time (like Google Docs). You see each other’s cursor positions and changes merge automatically. If you delete important information and your score drops, the AI alerts you: “Warning: Removing this weakens your Market Validation score.” What if I abandon the refinement process?
After 3 days of inactivity, you receive a reminder email. After 7 days, your Sherpa sends personalized outreach via email or WhatsApp. After 14 days, the system pauses your collaboration session - you can resume anytime. Your brief stays in “NEEDS_REFINEMENT” status and does not auto-progress. Can I request a call with my Sherpa?
Yes. Click “Request Call” in the workspace. Your Sherpa receives a notification with a calendar link, and the system generates a video call link. After the call, your Sherpa adds notes to the workspace and the AI summarizes the transcript to update your brief. How do I know what the AI extracted from my documents?
When the AI finishes analyzing an uploaded file, it posts a message in the workspace: “I found competitor pricing data - added to Market Validation section (+5% score).” Click the message to see exactly what was added and where.

Troubleshooting

My score went down after I made an edit
The system alerts you when deletions weaken your brief. Your Sherpa also receives a notification about the score drop. Review the “Warning” message that appeared, and either revert the change using edit history or clarify the information through the chat interface. The AI keeps asking questions I already answered
The AI should not repeat questions based on information you’ve provided. If this happens, check that your answers are being saved (you should see your brief update automatically). If the issue persists, notify your Sherpa via the workspace chat - they can manually update sections and report the technical issue. I’m not receiving email notifications
Check your Channel Preferences page (/channelpreferences) to verify notifications are enabled. Emails send within 2 minutes of events like score improvements and Sherpa messages. If preferences are correct, check your spam folder for messages from Fiftyknots. My Sherpa suggested an edit I don’t agree with
Sherpas suggest edits with “Accept” or “Discuss” options - they don’t force changes. Click “Discuss” to open a chat thread about that specific suggestion. You maintain control over your brief content. The edit only applies if you click “Accept.” Expert Matching - Once your brief hits 75%, the system automatically begins matching you with experts who fit your technical and domain requirements. Track matching progress on your Journey Overview page (/journeyoverview). Data Room - Store all project documentation in your Data Room (/dataroomlist). The AI can reference these documents during brief refinement, and they become available to matched experts during project execution. Specification Generation - After expert matching completes, the system generates detailed technical specifications from your refined brief. Review and approve specifications on the Spec Review page (/specreview) before development begins.
