Your onboarding journey unfolds automatically:- Sign up and verify - After completing OTP verification on the Login page, you receive a welcome email immediately. The system begins tracking your progress through 17 distinct states.
- Complete your profile - Navigate to Profile Complete page within 24 hours. If you don’t start within 5 minutes, you receive a gentle nudge email. Complete your profile details to unlock the next steps.
- Select your ICP category - Visit the ICP Selection page to choose your business stage (Zero to Founder, First Sale, Scaling, AI-Powered Revenue, Strategic Exit, or Exit Strategy). This personalizes all future guidance to your specific context.
- Create your first job - On the Dashboard, click “Create Job” to draft your first project. The system transitions you forward and sends targeted guidance about job creation within 2 hours.
- Work through the wizard - Complete the Wizard steps to define your venture details. If you pause for 30 minutes after Step 1, you receive an email about optional next steps. The system allows up to 48 hours before sending recovery messages.
- Submit your brief - Finish the wizard and submit. You receive immediate confirmation that your brief is under review.
- Review your BRS - When the system generates your Business Requirements Specification, you receive a notification to review it. This signals you’re moving toward expert matching.
- Continue building - The system monitors your activity across all stages, never sending more than 2 emails per week. If you’re actively engaged, recovery emails pause automatically.

How does the system know where I am in my journey?The platform tracks 17 onboarding states based on your actions - profile completion, job creation, wizard progress, brief submission, and more. Each state triggers specific guidance. You can see your progress percentage in the Dashboard. Why did I receive a recovery email?
Recovery emails trigger when you’re inactive at critical points: 24 hours without completing your profile, 48 hours without wizard progress, or 7+ days without logging in. These emails help you overcome common sticking points. If you’re actively using the platform, recovery emails pause automatically. Can I change my ICP category mid-journey?
Yes. Update your ICP selection on the ICP Selection page. All subsequent emails adapt to your new business stage, emphasizing relevant examples and guidance for that context. Will I get too many emails?
No. The system enforces a maximum of 2 emails per week. If you’ve been active in the last 24 hours, nudge emails skip automatically. You control preferences through Channel Preferences page. What happens when I complete onboarding?
Once you reach the “Onboarding Complete” state (typically after receiving your first expert match), the automated journey emails stop. You transition to project-specific communications about your active jobs.
