Dynamic Visualization Engine
1. Overview
The Dynamic Visualization Engine transforms your project data into clear, actionable visuals that help you understand momentum, identify gaps, and make faster decisions. Ask SupaSherpa “show me my momentum” and receive instant charts tailored to your channel - whether you’re in Slack, email, web, or WhatsApp. No navigation required. No dashboard hunting. Just real-time insight into where you stand and what needs attention.2. Step-by-Step Guide
Getting Your Momentum Dashboard:- Ask SupaSherpa - Open your preferred channel (Slack, email, web, or WhatsApp) and type: “show me my momentum” or “how am I doing?”
- Review your score - SupaSherpa returns your current momentum score (0-100) with a weather indicator (Summit, Fair Weather, Cloudy, or Foggy).
- Check dimension breakdown - See scores across six key dimensions: Brief Completeness, Vault Completeness, Team Engagement, Milestone Velocity, Confidence Trend, and Activity Consistency.
- Track your trend - Review the 7-day sparkline showing momentum changes and your current streak count.
- Take action - Click insights or deep links to address low-scoring dimensions.
- Request the visualization - Ask SupaSherpa: “show confidence radar” or “show my confidence chart.”
- Scan the seven axes - Review scores across Market Opportunity, Problem Clarity, Solution Viability, Business Model, Team Capability, Technical Feasibility, and Go-to-Market.
- Compare assessments - If you have multiple assessments, add “compare” to see current vs. previous scores with improvement deltas.
- Identify gaps - Focus on axes scoring below 60 and run assessments to improve.
- Ask for timeline - Type: “show journey progress” or “where am I in the journey?”
- View stage status - See all nine stages with completed stages marked green, current stage highlighted in teal, and future stages in gray.
- Check checkpoint progress - Review sub-stage completion (e.g., “3/5 checkpoints complete”) beneath your current stage.
- Estimate time to next stage - Note the calculated time remaining based on your velocity and average stage duration.
- Request portfolio view - Ask: “how’s the portfolio?” or “show portfolio overview.”
- Analyze the scatter plot - Jobs appear positioned by journey stage (x-axis) and momentum (y-axis), with bubble color indicating weather state and size showing team size.
- Identify at-risk projects - Focus on jobs in the lower-left quadrant (early stage, low momentum) or those with red (Foggy) or orange (Cloudy) indicators.
- Click for details - In web view, click any bubble to navigate to that job’s detail page.
3. Common Questions
Q: Why do I see different formats in Slack vs. email?A: Each channel has unique capabilities. Slack receives interactive Block Kit messages with clickable elements. Email gets inline SVG images that render in any email client. Web displays Chart.js interactive charts. WhatsApp receives formatted text summaries with deep links to the full web dashboard. The data is identical - only the presentation adapts to the channel. Q: What if I ask for a visualization but have no data yet?
A: SupaSherpa returns a “Getting Started” card explaining what data you need to collect before visualizations become available. For momentum dashboards, you need at least 3 days of activity. For confidence radars, you need a completed assessment. For journey progress, you need an active job with confirmed ICP selection. Q: Can I compare my confidence scores over time?
A: Yes. When requesting a confidence radar, add “compare” to your message (e.g., “show confidence radar compare”). SupaSherpa overlays your current assessment (teal, solid) against your previous assessment (gray, dashed) with delta labels showing improvement (+5 in green) or decline (-3 in orange) on each axis. This requires at least two completed assessments. Q: How often does momentum data update?
A: Momentum scores recalculate daily based on the last 7 days of activity across six dimensions. When you request “show me my momentum,” you receive real-time data from the current calculation. Streak counts update immediately when you complete tasks or milestones. Trend sparklines refresh with each daily calculation. Q: Why can’t I see the portfolio roadmap?
A: Portfolio roadmaps are restricted to program managers and users with ADMIN or SUPER_ADMIN roles. If you’re a founder or expert assigned to a single job, you’ll receive a message explaining the visualization is only available for program managers. If you believe you should have access, contact your program manager to verify your role permissions.
4. Troubleshooting
Issue: Slack visualization is truncated or incompleteWhen a chart specification exceeds Slack’s message size limits, SupaSherpa truncates to the top 10 data points and includes a “View Full Dashboard” link. Click the link to open the complete interactive version in the web platform. For portfolio roadmaps with many jobs, use filters (ICP category, weather state) to reduce data volume. Issue: Email SVG doesn’t render correctly
If inline SVGs appear broken in your email client, check that images are enabled and you’re viewing HTML email (not plain text). Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail support the rendering format. If problems persist, use the “Open in Web” link included in every email visualization to view the full interactive version. SVG files are limited to 50KB to ensure compatibility. Issue: “Not enough data for trend” message
Momentum trend sparklines require at least 3 days of recorded activity. If you see this message, continue completing tasks, updating your brief, or engaging with your team. After 3 days, request the momentum dashboard again. The sparkline appears automatically once sufficient data exists. Your current score displays immediately even without trend history. Issue: Request returns “No confidence assessment found”
You need to complete a confidence assessment before requesting a radar chart. Ask SupaSherpa: “run confidence assessment” or navigate to the Confidence Report page to start. Once submitted, the radar visualization becomes available immediately. Assessments take 10-15 minutes to complete and cover seven dimensions of venture readiness.
