Dynamic Visualization Engine
1. Overview
The Dynamic Visualization Engine turns your project data into visual insights - momentum dashboards, confidence radars, journey timelines, and portfolio views. Ask SupaSherpa “show me my momentum” in Slack, email, or the web platform, and you get a dashboard tailored to your channel. No manual dashboards. No spreadsheet gymnastics. Your data comes to life where you already work.2. Step-by-Step Guide
Getting a momentum dashboard:- Open your communication channel (Slack, email, or the Fiftyknots web platform at /supasherpa)
- Ask SupaSherpa “show me my momentum” or “how am I doing?”
- SupaSherpa generates your dashboard showing:
- Overall momentum score (0-100) with weather state indicator
- Six dimension breakdown: Brief Completeness, Vault Completeness, Team Engagement, Milestone Velocity, Confidence Trend, Activity Consistency
- 7-day trend showing momentum direction
- Current streak count
- The format adapts to your channel - interactive Chart.js visualizations on web, Slack Block Kit in Slack, inline SVG in email, or formatted text summary in WhatsApp
- Complete a confidence assessment for your job (ask SupaSherpa “run confidence assessment”)
- Ask SupaSherpa “show my confidence radar” or “show confidence chart”
- Review the 7-axis radar chart displaying scores for Market Opportunity, Problem Clarity, Solution Viability, Business Model, Team Capability, Technical Feasibility, and Go-to-Market
- Request a comparison by asking “compare with my previous assessment” to overlay current and past scores with delta labels
- Ask SupaSherpa “show journey progress” or “where am I in the journey?”
- View the timeline showing all 9 stages in your ICP journey:
- Completed stages appear in green with checkmarks
- Your current stage appears in teal with a pulse indicator
- Future stages appear in gray with estimated week counts
- Check sub-stage progress beneath your current stage (e.g., “SPECIFY: 3/5 checkpoints complete”)
- Review the estimated time to reach the next stage
- Navigate to /journeydashboard or ask SupaSherpa “show portfolio overview”
- View the scatter plot positioning all jobs by journey stage (x-axis) and momentum (y-axis)
- Each job appears as a labeled bubble:
- Color indicates weather state (green = Summit, blue = Fair Weather, orange = Cloud Cover, red = Fog)
- Size reflects team size
- Click any bubble on the web view to navigate to that job’s detail page
- Use filters to narrow by ICP category or weather state
3. Common Questions
Q: Can I get visualizations if my job is brand new with no data yet?A: Yes, but you’ll receive a “Getting Started” card instead of full charts. This card shows what data you need to collect before visualizations become available - like completing your brief, adding documents to your vault, or running your first confidence assessment. Q: Why does my momentum dashboard look different in Slack versus email?
A: Each channel gets an optimized format. Slack uses Block Kit with emoji indicators and text sparklines. Email embeds SVG graphics. The web platform uses interactive Chart.js visualizations. WhatsApp shows formatted text summaries with a deep link to the full web dashboard. All formats display the same underlying data. Q: What happens if I ask for a confidence radar but haven’t completed an assessment?
A: You’ll receive a message explaining “No confidence assessment found” with a prompt to run an assessment. SupaSherpa can guide you through completing one immediately. Q: Can I compare multiple confidence assessments?
A: Yes. When you have two or more assessments, ask SupaSherpa to “compare confidence assessments.” The radar chart overlays your current assessment (teal, solid) with your previous one (gray, dashed), showing delta labels on each axis in green for improvements and orange for declines. Q: I’m not a program manager. Can I still see the portfolio roadmap?
A: No. The portfolio roadmap is restricted to program managers and platform administrators. If you request it as a founder, you’ll receive a 403 error explaining the visualization is only available for program managers. You can access momentum dashboards, confidence radars, and journey progress for your own jobs.
4. Troubleshooting
Issue: My trend sparkline shows “Not enough data for trend (need 3+ days)“Solution: Momentum trends require at least three days of momentum history. Keep engaging with the platform - complete tasks, update your brief, add team members. Check back in a few days and your trend data will populate. Issue: The Slack visualization is truncated or shows “view full version on web”
Solution: Complex visualizations with large datasets may exceed Slack message size limits. Click the deep link provided to view the full interactive version on the web platform. The Slack version automatically truncates to the top 10 data points to stay within message constraints. Issue: My SVG chart doesn’t display in my email client
Solution: Some email clients block inline SVG graphics. The visualization service generates valid SVG tested in Gmail, Outlook, and Apple Mail. If your client blocks it, you’ll see a fallback text summary with a link to the web version. Check your email client’s image settings or switch to the web platform for full visualization support. Issue: The portfolio roadmap shows a 403 error
Solution: This visualization is restricted to program managers and administrators. If you believe you should have access, contact your organization admin to verify your role assignment. Founders can access momentum, confidence, and journey visualizations for their own jobs.
