Cabinet Skills via Messaging
1. Overview
Access specialist advisors - CTO, CFO, GTM strategist, legal counsel, and 18 other experts - directly from WhatsApp, Slack, email, or in-app chat. Type/cfo help me model my unit economics or simply ask “how should I position against competitors?” and get domain-expert advice grounded in your project data. Each specialist brings deep frameworks, quality standards, and advisor-caliber guidance without switching tools or scheduling calls.
2. Step-by-Step Guide
Invoke a Cabinet skill via slash command:- Open your SupaSherpa conversation (WhatsApp, Slack, in-app chat, or Supa Sherpa page)
- Type a slash command with your question:
/cfo review my pricing modelor/cto architecture feedback - SupaSherpa switches to Cabinet mode - you’ll receive a response from the specialist advisor in their authentic voice (e.g., CFO responds with financial modeling frameworks, CTO responds with architecture patterns)
- Continue the conversation - follow-up messages stay in specialist mode for up to 10 minutes of activity
- Type
doneorexitwhen you’re finished, or switch to another advisor by typing a different skill command like/gtm
- Open your SupaSherpa conversation in any channel
- Describe what you need in plain language: “I need help building a financial model with runway projections”
- SupaSherpa detects the intent, activates the CFO advisor, and responds with specialist guidance
- Continue the conversation - the CFO persona stays active for follow-ups
- Send an email to the specialist’s address:
cfo@fiftyknots.com,cto@fiftyknots.com,legal@fiftyknots.com, etc. - Use your registered platform email as the sender
- Describe your challenge or question in the email body
- Receive a reply from the specialist advisor within the email thread
- Reply to continue the conversation - the specialist persona maintains context across the thread
3. Common Questions
Q: Which Cabinet skills are available?A: All 22 specialist advisors are accessible via messaging:
/cto, /cfo, /gtm, /legal, /growth, /data, /content, /coach, /ir, /partnerships, /security, /ops, /community, /talent, /qa, /devops, /uxr, /eir, /tba, /prd, /pgm, /pjm. Each brings distinct expertise - your CTO advisor thinks like an architect-philosopher, your CFO advisor applies financial rigor, your GTM strategist builds go-to-market frameworks.
Q: How does the specialist know about my project?A: Cabinet advisors access your project brief, vault documents, ICP data, and journey stage automatically. When you invoke
/cfo, the CFO persona reviews your uploaded financial models and brief context before responding. Vault documents are incorporated via RAG retrieval - if you’ve uploaded a pitch deck to your vault and ask /ir review my deck, the IR advisor references the actual document content.
Q: Can I switch between specialists in the same conversation?A: Yes. Type a new slash command to switch advisors - if you’re talking with the CTO and type
/cfo, the conversation shifts to CFO mode immediately. Each specialist brings fresh context and frameworks. Previous specialist context doesn’t carry over when you switch.
Q: What happens if I don’t have an active project?A: Cabinet advisors respond using their frameworks and domain expertise without project-specific data. You’ll still get specialist-grade advice - the CFO will walk you through unit economics principles, the CTO will explain architecture patterns - but responses won’t reference your specific brief or vault documents until you create a project. Q: Do Cabinet skill email addresses work for anyone?
A: Only for registered Fiftyknots users. Your sender email must match your platform account email. Unrecognized senders receive a one-time auto-reply with registration instructions. This prevents spam and ensures advisors have your project context.
4. Troubleshooting
Issue: I typed/cto but got a generic SupaSherpa responseCabinet skills may be disabled on your account or in your region. Contact support to confirm feature access. Alternatively, check for typos - skill commands are case-insensitive but must match exactly (
/cto works, /CTO works, /ct0 does not).
Issue: The specialist response doesn’t reference my uploaded documentsEnsure documents are uploaded to your project vault (not just attachments in chat). Cabinet advisors use vault documents via RAG retrieval. If you uploaded a financial model, navigate to your project vault to confirm the file appears. Allow 2-3 minutes after upload for document indexing. Issue: My Cabinet session ended unexpectedly
Cabinet mode times out after 10 minutes of inactivity. If you pause the conversation and return later, SupaSherpa reverts to standard mode. You’ll see a note: “Your CTO advisory session has ended. Type
/cto to start a new one.” Simply re-invoke the skill to continue.
Issue: I emailed cfo@fiftyknots.com but received no replyVerify you sent from your registered platform email address. Check spam/junk folders - replies come from
cfo@fiftyknots.com with the subject line preserved from your original email. If you registered with a different email than the one you’re sending from, link your email in Channel Preferences settings.
